Mission Statement

The school library operates as an inclusive, student-centered hub within a collaborative learning community, empowering all students and staff to become critical thinkers, skillful researchers, ethical users of information, and enthusiastic, lifelong readers. Through access to a rich and varied collection—spanning print, digital, and multimedia resources—the library enriches and supports the curriculum, nurtures literacy in all forms, and encourages inquiry, informed decision-making, and the exploration of multiple perspectives

Library Hours

Monday: 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Tuesday: 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Wednesday: 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Thursday: 7:45 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Friday: 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

We have over 4100 books in our library collection. Students also have access to more than 125 full-text online databases through partnerships with Jefferson County Public Library, Broomfield Library, and Westminster Library.

Our library provides a program that incorporates curriculum, technology and staffing to enable library users to retrieve, evaluate and utilize information as well as develop a love of reading and lifelong learning. The goal of the Jefferson Academy library is to create an environment in which students are empowered to be effective users of information and technology.
