Mrs. Aubrey Garcia

Coming from a family of artists, Mrs. Garcia has art running through her veins. In college, Mrs. Garcia studied art through cultural anthropology before arriving in art education at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.  Mrs. Garcia also studied art and anthropology in the land down under when she lived in New Castle Australia! She earned a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and is a lifelong learner constantly pursuing educational enrichment. Mrs. Garcia is also a certified yoga instructor!  When she is not in the classroom or the yoga studio, Mrs.Garcia can be found playing outside with her son, her husband, her dog named Salvador Doggie, and her kitty cat, Picasso!  In the winter you will find her cruising slopeside on a snowboard.  In the summer she’s on a beach somewhere with her paddle board or backpacking into the forest. Mrs.Garcia has been teaching art for over 20 years and considers being an art teacher one of her greatest joys and passions.

Mrs. Theresa Stadler

Simply put, art has always been a significant part of Mrs. Stadler’s life. She truly appreciates this opportunity to share her passions with students and help them learn more about themselves through their artistic expressions and learning new mediums. Mrs. Stadler graduated from Baker University in Kansas with degrees in Studio Art and Psychology. While attending Baker she ran cross country and track in a Baker U uniform. Therefore, in addition to teaching visual art such as ceramics, she coaches high school cross country and junior high track. JA has been Mrs. Stadler’s family for many years as her 3 children have all attended since kindergarten and Mr. Stadler began his career at JA. Moving to Colorado over 25 years ago has allowed her to properly enjoy the outdoors through hiking, paddleboarding, and Jeeping with Mr. Stadler. Currently, Mrs. Stadler spends her “free” time attending her 3 teenagers’ athletic, artistic, and academic pursuits; and reading for book club!
