Tomorrow morning, the Jefferson Academy Jaguars Cross Country teams head to the 3A Colorado State Championships at the Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs.
In the girls' race, the Lady Jags will be competing against a field of over 150 runners from across the state. Running for the Lady Jags will be Nyla Delalio (So.), Leyna Gibson (Sr.), Reiss Heilman (Fr.), Kayla Hughes (Fr.), Sydney Murphy (Sr.), Kennedy Candelaria (Fr.), and Audra Shields (Sr.). Race time is set for 2:20pm.
The boys' race will also feature a field of over 150 racers. Qualifying for the Jags is Mathew Chichirico (Fr.), Hunter Elliot (Jr.), Grahm German (So.), Tony Thoutt (So.), Henry Vidmar (So.), Judah Wilson, Jr.), and Chase Wittman (Sr.). The boys' race starts at 1:00pm.
Please note: There is a home Air Force Academy football game at 10:00am. Traffic heading south on 25 will be rough throughout the day. Parking is $20.
