The Colorado Student Media Association has been supporting student journalism since 1970. From hosting the annual Journalism Day student media conference to providing students and advisors support in the world of media, the CSMA is Colorado's main student publication entity.
Throughout the years, the high school yearbook staff has been a nationally recognized program and one of Colorado's best. This year, the program brought home five First Place awards, six Second Place awards, and seven Third Place awards.
Year after year, the junior high yearbook program has been where our younger publication students have found a love for yearbook, the desire to learn all they can about design, and the ins and outs about business.
Thanks to Mr. Carwin and his amazing student staff, the newspaper produced eight issues throughout the school year. Each issue showed growth and the desire to continuously raise the bar. This hard work and dedication were recognized with six First Place awards, one Second Place award, two Third Place and two Honorable Mentions.
