Big day on the links for the golf team! The Jags tied for second place in the Liberty Common Tournament in Ft. Collins, outplaying many talented 3A and 4A teams.
Ben Pederson (Sr) and Teague Murrey (So) tied for 3rd place, each ending the day with a 75 and three birdies apiece. Sophomore Asher Calkins and Dawson Smith (Sr) finished in 33rd and 38th, respectively, each getting a birdie on the day.
The second-place finish is indicative of what this team can accomplish this season and shows that the future of Jags golf is going to be a lot of fun to watch.
Next up: The Jags host the next Metro League Tournament on August 26th at Broadlands Golf Course. Look for multiple Jaguar teams hitting the course that day.
