The varsity volleyball team made winning look easy at the SkyView Tournament yesterday!

In the first match, the Jags won 2-0 against DSST: Conservatory Green. Leading the Jags on the attack was Emily Neptune (Jr) with six kills. Fellow junior, Georgia Miller, added five kills and an ace. Senior Ravel LaBerge had eight assists and Nyah Bieser (Sr) had four. Defensively, Junior Sora Greenzweig had nine digs keeping the Jags on top of the scoreboard.

Monte Vista didn't put up much fight in the second match, giving the Jags another 2-0 win. Senior Kat Shadrach had eight kills and an ace. Neptune added five kills and two blocks. While these two Jags had a large chunk of the offense, it was Miller who stole the match with six aces, four kills, and four digs. LaBerge and Bieser combined for 19 assists in the win.

The championship match brought all the fireworks of the day, pitting the Jags against the host team, SkyView. It was a tough match with Skyview taking the first set 25-23. The Jags proved to be too much the Hawks in the second set and third sets, winning both 25-14 and 15-11, respectively.
